Bio
30+ years experience in variety of hardware manufacturers, software suppliers, systems houses and consultancies including Unisys (nee Sperry), Hoskyns (now Cap Gemini), and IBM.  Also free-lanced for a time. Roles have included consultancy, pre-sales and marketing support, direct sales, middle management, software design and development and internal support roles (e.g. Exec Assistant to the Managing Director of a small systems house).

Historic technical background is database design and development with some  significant architecture and team management responsibilities.

Currently Associate Director in Fujitsu Services (FS) Business Consulting Unit on partial secondment to Knowledge Management to complete the migration of Fujitsu Consulting (FC) knowledge content to FS's systems. Also participating in proposed Fujitsu led project for global knowledge sharing aimed initially at a proof of concept involving FS, Fujitsu Australia and Fujitsu Consulting (North America). A number of my articles have been published, and I also co-wrote a chapter of a KM book with Chris Riemer. 

In my various KM assignments over the past years I have played a significant role in FC's KM programme, developing several re-use repositories, influencing many KM initiatives both from technical and process/principle perspectives, and contributing to the marketing, sales and delivery of KM Services projects across Europe.

Education
BA in Economics; BAI in Civil Engineering; MSc in Computer Applications (The BAI is an internationally recognised engineering degree equivalent to a BSc, awarded by Trinity College (University), Dublin, Ireland).
