Bio
My interest in communications grew from a long series of childhood projects executed with my brother Chris. They were mostly live action pieces, geared to scare the living daylights out of neighborhood children or each other. A lingering fear of duct tape is traceable to this time.

My first major creative undertaking was a feature film script written in 1981. Sadly, it was so bloody awful that I avoided the craft like a swarm of killer bees for the next 15 years. In this interim period, I worked variously as a film projector repair technician, an A/V systems engineer, a technical writer and a creative media consultant. I also wrote and produced about a dozen really goofy one-act plays (another collaboration with brother Chris) which were seen by few, but reminded me that creative endeavors could still be a great deal of fun.

I became a staff writer/director at New York Television in 1988. NYTV developed video programs on darn near everything for Fortune 500 companies like American Express, AT&T, Foster Wheeler, and Becton Dickinson. The hours were long, but the coffee was free. Four years in this job gave me experience in nearly every aspect of video production and script writing, which has proved its value again and again over the years.

In 1992, I went out on my own. I founded Airworthy Productions, a sole proprietorship offering creative media design and production services to anyone who will pay me. Thankfully many do. My videos for The Seeing Eye, Hoffmann-La Roche, Pfizer, and others, have garnered over 20 industry awards.
